China spice: 11 group standards including Sichuan Pepper were official launched.

In order to promote industry standardization and progress, COFNA Seasoning branch organized standard experts group in August and invited standard experts and core enterprises to participate meeting discussion for many times.
It was pointed out in the seminar that the formulation of Sichuan Pepper standard is not only a must for industry standardization, but also a representation of stable progress and development of seasoning industry.

In 2020, the industry meeting for formulating Sichuan Pepper standard was held in Chengdu grandly on October 31, 2020.
As the activity undertaker, Rushi participated in discussion of formulating Sichuan Pepper standard jointly with COFNA Seasoning branch, industry professional scholars and corporate representatives. During the meeting, the core drafters of Sichuan Pepper standard including Hancheng Hongda Sichuan Pepper Flavor Co., Ltd, Sichuan Medelic Foods Technology Co., Ltd. and Rushi reported the formulation process of first draft for Sichuan Pepper group standard, data source and other preliminary work, explained the standard document for Sichuan Pepper Standard in detail, respectively and made it to the public.
Meanwhile, the participating industry experts, scholars, and corporate representatives put heads together and actively made a statement. After fierce elaboration and discussion, precious suggestions were proposed to Sichuan Pepper group standard from the perspective of product category, inspection method, sensory evaluation system, data of core indicators and management and control of food safety. Also, revision suggestions were pointed out to the shortcomings in the first draft of Sichuan Pepper group standard, which provides strong support and guarantee for revision and improvement of Sichuan Pepper group standard work.

In 2021, Sichuan Pepper standard was officially defined.
