Amomum Tsao-Ko（Latin name: Amomum tsaoko Crevost et Lemarie）is ginger family, cardamom is a perennial herbaceous plant, which is distributed in Yunnan, Guangxi, Guizhou and other places in China. The market currency of Amomum Tsao-Ko can be divided into sulfur-containing Amomum Tsao-Ko and sulfur-free Amomum Tsao-Ko.
The product comes from the Nujiang River in Yunnan, using clean energy dried sulfur-free Amomum Tsao-Ko, reddish brown or purple-brown, oblong oval with longitudinal groove and ridges, the top has a circular protruding column base, the base has a fruit stem or fruit stalk, the cortex is tough, full, spicy, often used in hot pot, marinade, etc.
